Rubber Penetrator DBD, known scientifically as "2,2'-dithiodibenzanilide" (CAS No.: 135-57-9), is an exceptional additive for rubber. Its molecular formula is C26H20N2O2S2, and it has a molecular weight of 456.58, appearing as a light yellow powder. This product features low toxicity and is environmentally friendly. Rubber Penetrator DBD is soluble in various organic solvents, including benzene, ethanol, and acetone, yet remains insoluble in water. It is primarily used in the formulation of natural rubber, synthetic rubber, or rubber alloys. This additive is generally integrated into emulsifiers containing crude rubber and should be introduced into the mixer shortly after the cracking process. The preferred processing temperature hovers around 155°C±5°C, with a suggested dosage ranging from 0.1 to 0.5 parts. While the product exhibits excellent stability during storage, it is essential to keep it in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area, shielded from direct sunlight.
